Wunderkind Integration
1. Hosting Options
-
Wunderkind requires that any servers used for integration purposes are hosted on the client end. We support SFTP or Amazon S3 Buckets.
2. Provide credentials
-
Please provide your Wunderkind contact with your server’s appropriate access information. If you plan to use an SFTP, we’ll need: SFTP host name, port, username and password.
3. Passing emails
-
Wunderkind will send a daily file with email addresses and any additional fields (ex: name, preference, etc.) collected through our onsite email capture campaigns.
4. Checking unsub status
-
For Wunderkind to accurately check unsubscribe status, client will upload a one time file of unsubscribed email addresses and then set up a daily upload of new unsubscribes moving forward.
5. Setting unsub status
-
When a user unsubscribes from a Wunderkind email, we will unsubscribe them from our system, as well as pass q daily file with these unsubscribed addresses to the SFTP.
6. Checking customer status
-
For Wunderkind to look up whether a user has previously made a purchase, client will upload a one time file of customers.
7. Sending email
-
Wunderkind will send emails through the Wunderkind ESP (Sendgrid). Wunderkind will set up proper DNS, DKIM and DMARC records so emails are sent through the same from name/email the client currently uses and deliverability is maintained.
8. URL Appending
-
In order to identify users clicking through marketing emails, client will assign a key to each email address that can be appended on all email links. Client will then provide Wunderkind with a file containing email addresses and associated unique identifiers.
9. QA
-
Wunderkind conducts an extensive QA process in a testing environment to ensure that emails pass through correctly and data flows as anticipated.
The Result: A fully rendered, mobile responsive email sent on behalf of your brand through Wunderkind’s ESP.
