On-Demand Text Campaigns in the Wunderkind Platform

On-Demand Text Campaigns let you send one-time or recurring SMS and MMS messages directly from the Wunderkind Platform. This guide walks you through every step — from building your campaign to scheduling and activating it.

Before you begin

Make sure you have an active text segment ready before you start. You'll select it during the Audience step. If you haven't built one yet, refer to Segmentation in the Wunderkind Platform to create one first — you won't be able to proceed without it.

Accessing On-Demand Text Campaigns

1. Log in to the Wunderkind Platform.
2. In the left-hand navigation, go to Experience → On-Demand. This opens the On-Demand Text listing page layout.

Viewing and filtering the campaign list

On the listing page, use the tabs along the top to filter your campaigns by status. This makes it easy to find Draft, Scheduled, or Sent campaigns at a glance.

Creating a new On-Demand Text Campaign

From the listing page, select +Create Experience to start a new campaign. 

The create page contains four steps stacked on top of each other:

• Audience
• Content
• Tracking
• Schedule

A "Completed" badge appears on each step as you finish it.

Naming your campaign

At the top of the create page, enter a Campaign Name. If you leave it blank and click Save and Close, the platform will generate a default name for you.

Step 1: Audience

Select a previously created segment from the dropdown, then click Next.

Step 2: Content

Compose your message body and add your destination URL. Optionally, attach an image or GIF to send as an MMS. Use the preview on the page to see how your message will appear to recipients.

Click Next when done.

Step 3: Tracking

Add any tracking parameters — such as UTM tags — you want applied to the campaign's links.

Click Next when done.

Step 4: Schedule

Choose one of the four send options.

⚠️ If you select Send Now, the campaign will be sent immediately as soon as you activate it. There is no delay after clicking Activate.

Fill in the date, time, and any related options for the send type you chose.

To view or change time zone settings, open the Global controls menu in the left-hand navigation

Saving and activating your campaign

1. After finishing all four steps, click Save and Close to save your campaign.
2. From the listing page, open your saved campaign and click the Activate button to make it live.
