This guide will walk you through setting up and using the Meta Audiences Integration to leverage Wunderkind's powerful identity data for your Meta campaigns. By connecting your Wunderkind and Meta accounts, you can create high-intent audiences and build cohesive cross-channel experiences.
Meta Authentication and Setup
Navigate to the Integration Hub: From the Wunderkind platform home page, navigate to Apps and integrations > Your integrations > Meta Ads. Click the Connect button on the right side of the window.
Select Business Portfolio: You will be prompted with a list of your Meta business portfolios. Select the one you wish to connect and click Connect.
Select Ad Account: In the subsequent screen, select the specific Ad Account(s) you wish to integrate with and click Next.
Finalize Connection: Click Save.
- After the system confirms the successful connection, click Got it to return to the integration page, which should now show a "Connected" status.
Audience Configuration and Mapping
Navigate to "Audiences" tab on Meta Integration: Once the steps above are complete, you will return to the integration page. Click on Audiences to choose which audiences will be published
- Select Target Ad Account: If this is your first time navigating to this page, Wunderkind will prompt you to select the single Meta Ad Account where all your audiences will be sent. Select the desired account from the list and click Save.
This Ad Account will be the one same one for all audiences that Wunderkind publishes.
Select Audience/Segment: In the mapping section, select one of your pre-configured segments (e.g., an omnichannel segment) that you wish to sync to Meta.
- Create Custom Audience: Click Publish to publish the selected audiences to your Ad Account.
Result: This action will automatically create a corresponding Custom Audience in your selected Meta Ads platform account, using the segment's data.
Note on Verification: You can verify the process by navigating to the Audiences section within your Meta Ads platform. The new custom audience will be listed with a name that corresponds to your segment, and the platform will track the Segment ID for accurate tracking. (Mapped audiences cannot be mapped again).
