What are onsite capture campaigns?
When users arrive on your site, and Wunderkind cannot identify them down to an email address and/or cell phone number, we serve them a capture experience. Advanced segmentation capabilities, behavioral triggers, and A/B testing strategies ensure we serve the right capture, to the right user, at the right time.
Who sees an onsite campaign?
Each campaign has its own eligibility criteria and triggers that determine:
- Who will see it (for example: prospects, customers, users who came from Google, everyone except users who came from Instagram, etc.)
- When they will see it (for example: on entrance to the site, upon adding an item to cart, demonstrating exit behavior)
Once these are determined, our frequency caps come into play.

How often do they see it?
The maximum a user will see:
- No more than 1 overlay per page.
- No more than 2 overlays per site visit.
- The same experience will be shown no more than 1 time every 12 hours (this comes into play if a user visits the site multiple times) and no more than 4 times in a user’s lifetime.
Please note that the above frequency caps are based on best practices and designed to protect user experience. If desired, we can adjust them as necessary to fit the unique needs of each client.
