Governing Bodies
Wunderkind is compliant with CTIA, TCPA, ADA CCPA and Google’s Mobile SEO and PLA Policies. Wunderkind’s long-standing internal experts and outside privacy counsel ensure we’re leaders in global compliance for one-to-one marketing.
Opt-In Compliance
In order to stay compliant while collecting phone numbers, Wunderkind follows strict standards.
Opt-In Audit Documentation
Wunderkind has a robust, compliant process for managing any user complaints questioning the status of their opt-in. Wunderkind opt-in reports contain everything a user did to opt-in, including the date & time stamp of the following:
- Website opt-in campaign. This is the creative they tapped to sign up for text message marketing on a mobile device or submitted their phone number into on desktop.
- Logs of visits to the opt-in page to verify: IP address, creative, and disclaimer displayed
- Pre-populated text message the user used to confirm their opt-in
- Confirmation text they received
- If any "STOP" message was received, including suspected attempts to opt-out
- The STOP reply that was sent (i.e. confirmation of opt-out), if applicable
Managing Text Unsubscribes
If a user opts-out, Wunderkind will update the status in real time and ensure no future messages are sent to that user.
Ensuring Text Message Deliverability
Unlike email deliverability, carriers do not give marketers send scores. Carriers will either send—or block—all of your messages, so it’s important you partner with the right aggregator.
Wunderkind works directly with Infobip, the top SMS aggregator in the US, to:
- Deliver best in class carrier compliance
- Ensure that all our clients are in good standing
- Proactively monitor sends and take action if needed
Removed Deactivated Phone Numbers
When individuals change phone numbers or deactivate their mobile accounts, their previous phone numbers are eventually recycled to new users. Wunderkind helps you stay compliant by automatically removing these numbers from your active subscriber list - so only users who “opt in” receive your texts.
Integration with Infobip’s Reporting API
- Infobip hosts a list of all deactivated phone numbers from US Mobile Carriers
- Wunderkind removes all phone numbers retrieved from this list daily across all our Text clients
