1. Start by Installing Wunderkind on Shopify

Install the App
- Log into your Shopify Store
-
Navigate to the Wunderkind App listing at https://apps.shopify.com/wunderkind

Please note that you must use a direct link; you cannot
currently discover the app within the Shopify App Store

Right-click on the three dots beside Wunderkind and choose Install.
-
On the Install App screen that appears, click Install again to confirm.
2. Create Your Wunderkind Account
-
Open Wunderkind
After installation, you’ll see a Welcome screen prompting you to either Click here or log in to register. Go ahead and click that button. -
Sign Up for Wunderkind
-
A new tab will open with the Wunderkind Platform login page. Since this is your first time, click Sign Up.

Enter your Email Address and choose a Password.

Check the boxes to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
-
Click Continue.
-

Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
-
You’ll see a QR code. Use an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator) to scan this code.

Enter the One-Time Code provided by the authenticator app.

Click Continue.
-

Add Your Subscription
-
You’ll return to Shopify and see a prompt to add a Wunderkind Subscription.

Click Click here to pay. This opens a new tab with details about your subscription (during beta, you won’t be billed).

Click Approve.

Finish Setup in Shopify
Back in your Shopify app, you’ll see a prompt to Finish your Wunderkind setup. Click this to open the Wunderkind Platform in a new tab (you may need to authenticate one more time).
3. Take a Quick Tour
-
Once the Wunderkind Platform loads, an Onboarding Modal will appear. Click Get Started to watch a brief introduction and take a guided tour of the platform.
- The Tour will guide you through the main pages and features of the Wunderkind Platform.

After the tour, you’ll notice a floating Get Started button in the lower-right corner. This button will guide you through the key onboarding steps:

Upload Your Logo
-
Choose a recommended file type (e.g., PNG or JPEG).

Aim for a size that looks good in the space where it will appear (e.g., 200–300 pixels wide).

Add Brand Fonts
-
Upload any custom font files.
-
Check recommended formats (often .woff, .woff2, or .ttf).
-

Apply Brand Colors
-
Following the on-screen guide, input your brand’s background, text, and button colors.

Keep accessibility in mind: the boldest brand color typically works best for buttons and accent elements.

Save Your Brand Kit
When everything looks right, click Save. - Having issues? No stress! Wunderkind's design team will step in to finish the creative process.
2. Configure Your Promotions

Open Promotions
-
In the left-side navigation of the Wunderkind Platform, click Promotions.

Create a New Coupon
-
In the top-right corner, click Create Coupons.
-
A modal will appear prompting you to create a static coupon (A static coupon is a single code that can be used by multiple shoppers, as opposed to unique codes that are generated per individual. Static coupons are ideal for broad promotions, such as seasonal sales or brand-wide discounts.)

Select your discount, add display text, and tailor your audience.
-
If you tailor your audience, you’ll be prompted to create a second coupon for everyone else not included in the first.

Click Create.

Review Your Coupons
After creating, you’ll see your coupons listed with their details. - Prefer to use a dynamic code instead? That's fine! Let your Wunderkind contact know and they'll reach out with next steps.
3. Connect to Klaviyo

Go to Apps & Integrations
-
On the Wunderkind Platform’s left-side navigation, click Apps & Integrations.

Find Klaviyo and click Connect.

Authorize Klaviyo
-
Review the permissions, then click Connect.

In a separate tab, open Klaviyo Integrations.
-
Go to your account in the bottom-left corner, then Settings → API Keys.
-
Create a Private API Key named “Wunderkind.” Select Full Access Key, click Create, and copy the key.

Verify Your API Key
-
Return to the Wunderkind Platform and paste your Klaviyo API key into the modal’s input field.

Click Verify API Key to confirm.
