Designed to enhance the efficiency of creative delivery, Studio is structured between three connected features: Brand Kit, Blocks & Layouts. Each section plays a crucial role in the design workflow, ensuring that, no matter how many emails you are running, creative assets are consistently branded and efficiently managed.
- Brand Kit is the central repository of your brand identity. It houses all the elements that define your brand. It also uses variables for recurring components that make design updates and asset management easy as your library scales.
- Blocks are the building elements of your Layouts. Blocks are modular design elements that can be customized and reused across multiple layouts. Designed by Wunderkind’s design team, each Block encapsulates best practices for email design, ensuring your campaigns achieve optimal performance.
- Layouts represent the designed email assets corresponding to your campaigns. Each layout is composed of a series of blocks and is tailored to meet the specific needs of different campaigns.
Navigating Studio's UI
Navigating Studio is designed to be intuitive, with a clear and logical structure that supports efficient workflow management. Here’s a brief overview of the main navigation elements:
- In your Left Panel is where you access the three features that I just described.
- The Main Workspace is where you’ll interact with different tools depending on which section from the left panel you’ve clicked into.
- Accessible from the Layouts section by clicking into any individual Layout is the Preview Editor. Here, you can view and edit the visual design and copy of each layout.
While in the Preview Editor:
- The Left Panel will display a list of blocks the layout is composed of. You can swap, add, delete, and reorder blocks, to and make necessary layout-level edits.
- The Main Workspace shows a rendered layout design.
- Clicking into content here enables editing options in your Right Panel. Options here will vary depending on the component.
By setting up a Brand Kit first, we establish a consistent foundation for all your creative outputs. The Blocks then leverage this foundation into rendered content that can then be applied across multiple Layouts. This hierarchical structure is what supports consistency at any scale.
